EFTTA had been using an Access database that had been developed haphazardly over the best part of a decade. Initially my role was to support this database before eventually writing a new system from scratch using asp.net and SQL server 2005. The system is used to manage EFTTA memberships and bookings for the annual exhibition. As it is also used to register visitors during exhibition it is essential that it performs reliably and remains responsive.
